Word on the street – The LOX Interview

The LOX stopped by the Breakfast club for one of their first LOX interview in 16 years.

The Lox  is an American hip hop group formed in 1994 and the group is from Yonkers, New York. The group is composed of East Coast rappers Sheek Louch, Styles P and Jadakiss.

In the interview they talk about why they waited 16 years to release an album. The LOX also spoke about their  Roc nation deal which sees their music being distributed through Def Jam.

Did you know that styles P is responsible for physical copies of the album  not coming out on time?

Well he is responsible and here is why. Styles P submitted a track which contained words that were offensive towards the police and also encouraged violence against the police.

The LOX spoke about their dope dealing history and how they had to revert back to slinging coke during their contractual problems. Most people know about their contractual issues hence the 16 year wait for an album. Furthermore they spoke about what they learned from that.

In conclusion we are happy that the group finally released an album.
